About this house
Welcome to the authentic stable building at Granheim Farm, a hidden gem in the picturesque Norwegian landscape. This stable building has been transformed into a modern and cozy guest cabin, giving you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Norwegian farm life.
The interior of the cabin is modern, but has retained the rustic style of the farm. It has an open-plan kitchen-living room with all the necessary facilities, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. You will feel at home as soon as you enter this warm and welcoming cottage.
Outside you'll find a covered balcony with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, as well as a heated barbecue hut that can be used all year round. You can also get a taste of real farm work—here you are welcome to watch as we feed our West Highland cattle. The farm's three Border Collies are also very social and enjoy being petted.
The area around the farm offers a variety of activities. You can spend the long summer days fishing, canoeing, hiking, or mountain biking. In winter, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are popular activities. Børgefjell National Park and its countless fishing opportunities are just a short distance away.
Ski in/ski out: Cross-country ski trails right outside the cabin.
