About this house
Villa Skumfidus is not really a villa, but a classic black wooden house with a genuine, old-fashioned cottage atmosphere just 900 meters from the Kattegat. Skumfidus is set on a beautiful plot and the house exudes relaxation, potato sandwiches and cold toast. The cottage invites you to relax, enjoy, play, swim in the Kattegat and, not least, enjoy the peace and quiet around the fire or wood-burning stove.
The house is decorated like a real grandmother's summer house. They have made a virtue of choosing the right flea market finds to create the atmosphere that sets the scene for the cozy moments. The authentic country house is both unpretentious and at the same time complete with quality and atmosphere. And even though everything has just been restored, it's made to be used.
There's an outdoor kitchen, a gas barbecue and a brand new kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, so the whole family can share in the culinary delights. The house is suitable for family vacations with outdoor activities, stays for gastronomy enthusiasts and extended romantic weekends away from the city.
Villa Skumfidus has no television. The framework for togetherness and immersion is set with lots of games, puzzles, a fire pit and breadsticks. Deer, pheasants, foxes and squirrels often come by. Enjoy them in silence. They belong and are part of the experience. And if the weather is calm and cloudless, you can take your duvet outside when it gets dark. Wrap up and lay your head back and enjoy the impressive starry sky.
