About this house
In a small cottage area called Fugleparken, 'The Owl' is located completely undisturbed at the end of a cul-de-sac. The cottage dates from 1972, but over the past year it has been carefully renovated with personality and the desire to create a perfect sanctuary with peace, calm colors and a true cottage atmosphere. In the renovation, the ceiling has been raised to bring air and light all the way into the heart of the house.
The focal point is the beautiful kitchen-dining room and living room in one. It is furnished with carefully selected second-hand finds. The tranquil family room can easily be extended and expanded by opening the folding door to the large south-facing terrace. The folding door forms the entire end wall and the beautiful colors of nature flow all the way inside. The cottage also has two equally sized bedrooms, a loft and a large and lovely bathroom. It's not just the interior that has been designed with a focus on creating a cohesive and cozy environment. On the long side of the house, there is an elevated, secluded wooden terrace with lounge furniture and sun loungers, which provides privacy and coziness with the large pine trees that surround it. The large pine trees ensure that the garden is always sheltered, even though the holiday home is close to the North Sea.
