Delightful summer house from the 60’s near Roskilde Fjord

The small cottage at the top of the hill was built in 1968 and was completely original until 2020. It has been restored with the original details and materials in mind, making it both a modernized and cozy cottage. You'll be greeted by the original yellow floor tiles and the entrance hall has space for coats, shoes, umbrella and dog leash. In open connection with the living room is the kitchen and dining area, where you can enjoy a good glass of wine and a fun board game. There is an uninterrupted view of the garden through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. When the weather permits, the sliding doors can be opened all the way up, giving you the feeling of indoors and outdoors merging completely. The living room has original ash wood floors and is decorated with warm colors, a nice desk facing the garden and not least the cozy Jøtul stove. The sofa faces the fantastic terrace, and there's no television to distract you. The lovely kitchen is new, but is spiced up with the original wall tiles from Tronholm Flisefabrik in Randers. There are two bedrooms in the cottage with nice beds and one even has access to the terrace, so you can enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views first thing when you get up. The outdoor areas are lovely and the large west-facing wooden terrace makes for many hours of socializing. The terrace also overlooks the wild garden with high hedges and many trees and shrubs that shield you from prying eyes. The south-facing stone terrace is sheltered by the house itself. And if you're into water sports, it's only a 5-10 minute walk to a large common area by the fjord where you can put a boat or paddleboard in the water.
