About this house
This simple and stylish architect-designed cottage in Asserbo Plantage is the perfect place to retreat and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the forest. The house is an architectural gem designed by award-winning Danish architects Friis & Moltke and built in 1969. The interior design of the house is well thought out and much of the original decor is well preserved and otherwise gently updated in continuation of the house's original style, so everything comes together. The cottage is in balance with the surrounding nature, and the slow pace of life rubs off on you when you stay here. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with uninterrupted views into the forest, a short distance to the beach and many scenic areas to explore. The living room is one with the open kitchen and there are both dining areas and a sofa corner. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the terrace offers great sunny spots throughout the day. This rare gem is especially for those with an architectural interest who would love to experience it alone with the opportunity to recover or immerse yourself in your work or with your partner for a unique getaway.
